According to a blog hosted by Boston.com, the seriousness of Cronkite’s medical condition has been exaggerated in other news reports. We did find those reports a little fishy, because no specific illness was mentioned and we couldn’t find anything on the web about Cronkite’s medical history. The family is keeping the nature of Cronkite’s illness private.
