After a two week marathon, Celebrity Diagnosis and SCOPE are neck and neck, competing for gold and silver as the Best New Medical Blog of 2009. It’s an incredibly tight race, with both teams constantly trading the lead position by only a handful of points.

As a part-time family business, Celebrity Diagnosis is the underdog in the race. SCOPE is a marketing and communications arm of Stanford University Hospital and School of Medicine. SCOPE has recently published articles on the need for “better trash” in Europe and eliminating cupcakes from school bake sales to combat childhood obesity.
